Peter Morris conducts a contemporary orchestral program featuring the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra and the newly-formed Contemporary Studio Orchestra. Symphonic works will include Ginastera’s Harp Concerto featuring student soloist Linley Chai, Lutoslawski’s Chain 3 and new works by Queensland Conservatorium student composers. The Contemporary Studio Orchestra will present the world premiere of A path on which to travel by Head of Jazz, Steve Newcomb in addition to other exciting collaborative works.
