STAC is a collaborative effort in exploring new musical territory by manipulating live audio in real time without losing any sense of familiarity. The duo takes the aesthetics of electronically produced works whilst maintaining the attitude of improvised music to frame their compositions. A mutual respect for honest expression, visual arts and pop melodies is shared by the duo with their aim to continually search for relevant ways to produce works that incorporate these values and concepts. Although they collectively share extended experience with music academia, the pillars of STAC are built upon friendship, creativity and not taking anything too seriously.
